FC Real Kreuth Forest Festival
The FC Real Kreuth Forest Festival will take place as planned this weekend. A free shuttle bus will run on both days between 11:00 PM and 3:00 AM (Kreuth – Rottach-Egern – Tegernsee – Gmund – Bad Wiessee).

Forestry work in the Alpbachtal valley
Due to forestry work using cable car technology, the Prinzenweg trail will be closed from June 9th to approximately June 26th, 2026. The closure will be in effect Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM. The hiking trail to the Kreuzbergalm alpine pasture will be open on weekends.

#wiesseerocks canceled
The Mayhem Inc. concert as part of the #wiesseerocks series has been canceled for tomorrow, Friday, June 12th, 2026, due to the cold and poor weather forecast.

Seesauna Renovation
The monte mare lakeside sauna will be closed for renovation from Monday, June 8th to Friday, June 19th, 2026 inclusive.

Wallbergmoos Climbing Forest
The Wallbergmoos Climbing Forest is now a partner of the TegernseeCard. Guests receive a 50% discount on day tickets upon presentation of their TegernseeCard on site. Online booking via the Tegernsee Web App will be available soon.

Naturally! Kreuth.
During the Pentecost holidays there will again be two weeks of family-friendly nature and adventure events. Then in the mountaineering village of Kreuth everything revolves around fauna and flora, forestry and alpine farming as well as the Kreuth producers who let us look over their shoulders as they work. It starts with a family action day. The complete program of “Naturally! Kreuth” ranges from guided hikes and horse-drawn carriage rides to alpaca yoga through to sightseeing and musical alpine experiences. There is a mountain biking day and a nature adventure hike especially for children. Info

BRB Timetable Changes
Due to construction work, there will be timetable changes for BRB trains from Monday, June 1st, to Saturday, June 13th, 2026. A rail replacement bus service will be provided between Schaftlach, Gmund, and Tegernsee. The buses will run at different times than the regular train schedule. Timetable

Serenade by the Lake – postponed
Due to the weather, the serenade at the lake by the Rottach-Egern brass band was postponed from Sunday, May 17th to Friday, September 11th, 2026.

Reminder – road renewal near Leeberg
During the Pentecost holidays there will be a complete closure from Tuesday, May 26th to Friday, June 5th. The construction route runs from the “Fischerstüberl” hotel-restaurant to the Adelberg curve at Schwaighofstrasse 11. The walking and cycling path remains open. Hot air balloon on Tegernsee

Waldfeste
The Bad Wiessee Ski Club has postponed its forest festival by one week. The new dates are Friday, July 3rd and Saturday, July 4th (rain date: Sunday, July 5th, 2026). All Dates»
