Hotel classification as a guide for guests

Since 1996, the industry association of the German hotel and restaurant trade DEHOGA e.V. has been awarding stars for hotel classification, which is valid for three years. This is followed by a renewed check according to the then current criteria. A nationwide standardized catalog of criteria offers a high degree of transparency and security for the guest.
