The Spitzingsee-Tegernsee ski area will open the curve, east slope and north slope lifts on December 2nd and 3rd. Tickets are available at discounted prices. During the week the ski area closes the lifts again. From the 2nd weekend in Advent they will be open continuously. The Wallbergbahn will reopen from Saturday, December 2nd. Mobile phone ticket at the Wallbergbahn

We are pleased to now have the Wallbergbahn and its services on board in the Tegernsee app. It is now possible to purchase a mobile phone ticket for the Wallbergbahn via www.tegernsee.bayern. Long queues at the checkout are now a thing of the past. And it’s that easy:

  • Open the web app www.tegernsee.bayern in the browser
  • Book tickets for the trip to the Wallberg
  • Walk past the checkout line straight to the turnstile
  • The ticket is checked via a scanner and QR code on the cell phone

We are currently in the process of acquiring additional partners for online sales via the Tegernsee app in order to offer locals and guests a simple booking experience and to minimize the effort involved in selling tickets for service partners.

New bridge construction

The mountain bike trail in Langenau in Kreuth offers locals and guests an eventful descent on a narrow natural path. The last of the trail’s three bridges in Langenau was renewed in the fall.
