The Olaf Gulbransson Museum in Tegernsee is currently closed due to renovation work. It will reopen on Saturday, March 1st, with a special exhibition: “Picasso, Beckmann, Turner, and Other Stories the Sea Tells.” More about the exhibition

Seepromenade in Bad Wiessee Closed

Due to construction work at the Seegut am Tegernsee hotel, the lakeside promenade in Bad Wiessee will be completely closed to pedestrian traffic in the construction area from January 20th to February 11th, 2025.

Göttfried Inclusion Ski Cup

On Saturday, February 1st, 2025, the 6th Göttfried Inclusion Ski Cup will take place at the Hirschberg lifts in Kreuth. This ski competition is open to both people with and without disabilities. Organized by Freundeskreis Inklusion Tegernsee – F.I.T e.V., the event aims to show that disabilities do not have to be a handicap when inclusion is actively embraced. All participants will receive a certificate and a prize, and winners in each category will receive trophies or medals. We are proud to support this event as a sponsor. Open House at Sonnenbichl

On Saturday, February 1st, 2025, Sonnenbichl will host an open house event, featuring a ski test center from 10:00 AM and ski touring courses. At 2:00 PM, the new piste groomer will be inaugurated, followed by the Inferno Race and an after-party at 6:00 PM.

On Sunday, February 2nd, 2025, the KidsRace with Viktoria Rebensburg will take place. All children who enjoy skiing—whether recreational or competitive—are welcome. From 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, a ski training session will be offered, followed by a course inspection at 1:00 PM. The multi-discipline race will start at 1:45 PM. More information

Montgolfiade Balloon Glow

The Balloon Glow event, part of the Montgolfiade, will take place as planned tomorrow, Friday, from 4:00 PM at Sonnenbichl in Bad Wiessee. Only a few snowflakes are expected, so the event will proceed as scheduled. Whether the balloons will glow with their full envelopes depends on the snow conditions and will be decided spontaneously.
