Tegernsee Week
The 51st Tegernsee Week will take place from September 26th to October 6th, 2024 in the town of Tegernsee. Visitors can expect concerts from a wide variety of styles and eras as well as interesting cultural programs. Tickets are still available for some concerts: View the program and purchase tickets

Road closures for the Tegernseelauf
The Tegernseelauf will take place on Sunday, September 15, 2024. The following roads will be closed for a short time:

  • 10:20 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.: B307 closed from Stachus Gmund via Tegernsee to Rottach/Seestraße (cars can follow the field of participants from around 11 a.m. in the direction of Rottach) → diversion via Bad Wiessee or large-scale tourist traffic via Sylvenstein
  • 10:10 a.m. – 11:50 a.m.: B307 closed from Rottach/Seestraße via Tegernsee to Gmund → diversion via Bad Wiessee or large-scale tourist traffic via Sylvenstein
  • 10:50 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.: Seestraße Rottach-Egern closed
  • 11:10 a.m. – 12:40 p.m.: B318 closed on both sides between Bad Wiessee (junction with Wilhelminastr.) and Gut Kaltenbrunn → diversion via Tegernsee or large-scale tourist traffic via Sylvenstein. More information (PDF)»

BRB timetable changes, Sun. 5:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.:
The BRB ends at the Finsterwald stop. From then on, rail replacement buses will be used between Finsterwald and Tegernsee. These do not stop at Gmund station.

RVO timetable changes, Sat. 7:00 p.m. to Sun. 6:00 p.m.:
On Sundays, the buses will take the detour from Kaltenbrunn via Finsterwald (Realschule) – Tölzer Berg to Gmund. The connection to the BRB and the regular buses is only available at Finsterwald (Realschule) station. The Gmund Bahnhof, Parksiedlung and Kaltenbrunn stops will be omitted.

Almabtrieb Kreuth
The Almabtrieb in Kreuth will take place (if nothing else comes up) on Saturday, September 14th, 2024. The festively decorated cows can be seen between 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. at the gorge, between 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. at the bridge at the Wildbad Kreuth car park and around 12:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. in the village of Kreuth.

Rottach-Egern lake and warm bath
The Rottach-Egern lake and warm bath will be open for the last time on Sunday, September 8th, 2024 and will then end the season.
