Closures Alps Triathlon 25.06.2023
Due to the Schliersee Alpine Triathlon on Sunday, June 25th, 2023, the road between Schliersee – Neuhaus – Aurach – Spitzingsee – Valepp will be completely closed to traffic from around 9:00 a.m. to around 3:00 p.m. The bus line 9560 Spitzing – Valepp – Moni Alm is canceled all day. Line 9552 only runs from the Leitzachtal to Fischbachau station during this period. Line 9562 Schliersee – Spitzingsee is no longer available.
Instead: Special trip at 09:15 a.m. – free of charge from Schliersee train station without further stops to Spitzingsee.
Special trip at 10:15 a.m. – free of charge from Schliersee train station without further stops to Spitzingsee.
Special trip at 2:45 p.m. – free of charge from Spitzingsee Church to Schliersee.
Special trip at 12:10 p.m. – free of charge from Spitzingsee Church to Schliersee.
monte mare Tegernsee – lido and sauna
The Tegernsee lido and the coffee terrace are open from 10:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. when the weather is nice. Admission to the lido is €2.50. Sun loungers and parasols can be hired for a fee (€4/€3). The coffee terrace is open when the weather is nice.
Information about the lake sauna in summer:
The lake sauna offers all regular guests who have a value card up to 31.08. offers a summer rate, i.e. the visitor only pays the discounted 5-hour rate and can stay the whole day. Due to the direct access to the lake, the beautiful sauna garden with restaurant and massages by the lake, a visit to the lake sauna is also recommended as a real highlight in summer.

Saturday, June 17th, 2023 limited bathing operations in the Seebad and Warmbad
On Saturday, June 17th, 2023, the district swimming championships of the WSV Bad Tölz will take place in the Seebad and Warmbad Rottach-Egern. The sports pool is therefore closed until 3:00 p.m. on this day and bathing operations are restricted. For visitors who still want to visit the swimming pool or watch and cheer on the swimmers of the water sports club, admission is free until 3:00 p.m.

Bus schedule

RVO Bus to Kreuth
After many efforts, there is finally a higher frequency of buses on the Rottach-Egern – Kreuth route. Line 9556 will be supplemented by two additional journeys in both directions during the summer months. The buses run at 7:17 p.m. and 8:17 p.m. (on weekends) from Tegernsee to Wildbad Kreuth, and at 7:47 p.m. and 8:47 p.m. (on weekends) on the way back from Wildbad Kreuth to Tegernsee. We are very pleased that our guests can now use public transport in the evenings, e.g. to use the restaurants in Kreuth.
Bike-Test 3. – 4.6.2023
The Fun Sports company in Bad Wiessee is offering bike test days on June 3rd and 4th, 2023. All information on this can be found on the Homepage or download the Flyer.
