Programme for children and teenagers:

The communities in the valley organize activity programmes for children and teenagers in the summer holidays – our guests’ children are more than welcome. Programmes are available at the reception.
Pony riding on the Martlhof am Tegernsee: Riding trains your child’s sense of balance, co-ordination, awareness and a general feeling for his or her own body. First encounter with a pony for children from 3 years. Further information is available at the reception.

Church Services
The church is an expression of people’s belief in God who lived in the centuries before us. This was their house of prayer and they invite you, too, to escape our hectic pace of life and seek refuge in a place of silence. Take some time for yourself!

Cleaning Service
The rooms are cleaned once a day. You can arrange to have your room cleaned at a special time, either with the chambermaid or at the reception. The bedclothes are usually changed every three days, at an extra charge, daily. If you place the ‘environment card’ on your bed, we know that you would like to have the bedclothes changed on that day.

Dogs are welcome in our hotel. The charge for dogs is € 15 per day (without food). However, please understand that our four-legged guests are not allowed into the breakfast area. Your dog is very welcome in our restaurant and on the terrace outside. Code of conduct for our four-legged guests:

Fire Alarm
If you notice a fire yourself, close the door to the room with the fire immediately and then report it to us or press the fire alarm button. Please follow the staff’s instructions and stay calm. Do not use the lift in the case of fire! Find out where the fire extinguishers are and how to use them. If the escape route is blocked by smoke, close the doors and stay in your room.
Draw attention to yourself at the window and then wait for the fire brigade to come.

Fishing
Fishing for all ages – discover this paradise for nature and fishermen ”Bichlacher Angelteiche” in Kaiserwinkel (1 hour’s drive away). We will gladly give more information at the reception.

Flowers
We will gladly order flowers for all occasions so that you can surprise your loved ones on holiday. Please place your order at the reception, if possible a day before you require the flowers. Gift Vouchers
Why don’t you give your friends and loved ones something that everybody needs and nobody has enough of: time!
They will receive a voucher for our hotel or restaurant, for whatever service you have chosen, written out to the person concerned. The financial part will be dealt with very discreetly between you and us. The recipient of the voucher simply has to come and enjoy.

Guest Card
You will receive a guest card at the reception for your discovery tour of the Tegernsee Valley. The guest card is your ‘free ticket’ for all the RVO buses around the lake. There is also a price reduction on many of the sights with the card, eg: the cable car up to the Wallberg, the Coach Museum and the Tegernseer Tal Museum.

This stylish restaurant, which has been decorated with a lot of attention to detail, offers a range of down to earth dishes with a modern touch, enhanced by a slight Mediterranean influence and a hint of Asia. “Enothek am See”: In our cosy bistro Maximilian Kölbl and his team will spoil you with delicious pasta, fish and Mediterranean dishes, as well as selected wines.
In the summer you can sit outside on our lovely terrace and enjoy a direct view of the lake. Events for up to 30 people can be catered for. You can reach the bistro via the lower ground floor of the hotel, without having to leave the hotel.

All our rooms are equipped with a flat screen TV, Wireless LAN, an in-dialling telephone, safe, radio and a minibar. During your stay you will also be provided with high-quality towelling bathrobes. If you would like to take some home with you, you can buy them at the reception. There is a Swiss stone pine fountain in each room which creates a pleasant climate. Sauna & Steam bath
In our spa area on the lower ground floor there is a Swiss stone pine sauna and a crystal steam bath. Please understand that we are trying to be as environmentally friendly as possible and save energy and are therefore happy to turn the sauna and steam bath on at your request. Afterwards you can relax in our “quiet room”.

Sewing Service
”Has a button come off?” No problem – for a fee we will happily sew it back on for you.

Sledging
Enjoy a beautiful winter day on one of the most beautiful and longest natural sledge runs on the Wallberg – 6.5 km long.

Ski lifts /ski resorts/ski hire
Downhill skiing is a tradition in the Tegernsee Valley. Our most famous skier is the Olympic gold medallist Viktoria Rebensburg, who lives in Kreuth. The winter sport area Tegernsee offers perfect conditions for both beginners and experienced skiers – from a ski course to free riding. Everybody can find their perfect slope, whether it is a small slope eg: the Hirschberglift in Kreuth or the extensive Spitzingsee-Tegernsee ski resort. We are happy to help you find a slope suitable for your level of skiing. We will gladly give you some advice.

Village Brass Band Concerts
From May to October, when the weather is good, the village brass band regularly gives a concert in the pavilion opposite the hotel. Tuesdays and Fridays: From 6.30 pm. Sundays and Holidays from 11 am.
