Spring leaves its white-blue ribbon
On 1 May it is finally time again! Then, according to old tradition, the blue-and-white pole is built in the Bavarian municipalities to proudly stand up to the sky. What is the point? Of the maypole, of course!
Before twelve o’clock the young men, according to old custom, have, of course, already been able to bring the symbol of spring and fertility closer to heaven, but then hopefully the congregation will be wishing many happy hours. For it is to bring good fortune, the adorned specimen, according to the folk narrative. And whoever does not take it very precisely with the surprise, sees the Maypole at least as a symbol for the good cohesion in the local community. And that’s something.
All guests are therefore invited from 9 am to attend the spectacle and then to celebrate extensively. For the musical background and the physical well-being is of course provided. Just say: A happy dance in the May!
