Tegernsee Lake Festival
The Tegernsee Lake Festival is planned for next Tuesday, July 30th, 2024. The final decision will be made on Monday at around 4 p.m. (rescheduled for July 31st/August 1st). This year, together with the hosts, clubs and the city of Tegernsee, we have further developed the event concept, which includes a relocation to the spa gardens, where the children’s program will take place. From 5 p.m., the RVO ring lines and the southern boat tour are free. There is a guarded bicycle parking area at medius. After the fireworks, a special boat will be in operation at 11 p.m. and midnight. At 12:15 a.m., a special bus will travel around the lake from the high school.

Friendly match FC Bayern Munich vs FC Rottach-Egern
The friendly match FC Bayern Munich against FC Rottach-Egern will take place on Wednesday, July 24th, 2024 at 6:30 p.m. at the Birkenmoos sports field. Admission is from 3:30 p.m. Tickets are only available on site on Sunday, July 21st, 2024 from 5:00 p.m. at the Birkenmoos sports field.

Borussia Mönchengladbach
The warm-up match Borussia Mönchengladbach against Holstein-Kiel will take place on July 29th, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. at the Birkenmoos sports field. Tickets are available from Munich Ticket and at the tourist information offices.

BRB timetable changes
Construction work by DB InfraGO AG means that from July 26th. Until August 21, 2024, there will be various timetable changes and cancellations of the BRB on the Munich – Holzkirchen – Bayrischzell / Lenggries / Tegernsee route. All information about the timetable changes can be found here.

Full moon swim
On Saturday, July 20, 2024, the first Tegernsee full moon swim will take place between the Abwinkl pier and the Rottach-Egern warm baths. The swimmers will start at around 9:20 p.m. in Abwinkl and arrive at the finish at the Rottach-Egern warm baths from around 9:55 p.m. Shipping will not be affected by the event. A 10 to 15 meter wide corridor will be left at the Point for sailing and electric boats to be able to enter and exit the bay past the Point. However, there may be short waiting times between 9:15 p.m. and 10:45 p.m.

Waldfeste am Wochenende
Das Waldfest des Skiclubs Kreuth am Leonhardstoanahof findet am Freitag und Samstag, 12.07. und 13.07.2024 statt. Das verschobene Waldfest der Gebirgsschützen findet am Sonntag, 14.07.2024 statt.

Tegernsee Triathlon
The Tegernsee Triathlon will take place on Sunday, July 7th, 2024.
The following buses are cancelled:

• Trip 359 route 026 ring line B at 10:34 a.m. from Gmund train station via Bad Wiessee, Rottach-Egern to Tegernsee is cancelled.
• Trip 359 route 015 ring line A at 10:12 a.m. from Tegernsee via Rottach-Egern, Bad Wiessee ends in Gmund.
• The section at 11:04 a.m. from Gmund via St. Quirin to Tegernsee is cancelled.
• Delays cannot be ruled out on all routes during the day.

Here are the road closures again:

• Seeglas car park closed
• Both sides of the B307 from Stachus Gmund to Tegernsee town entrance north from approx. 9:00 a.m. to approx. 11:30 a.m. → diversion via Bad Wiessee or large-scale tourist traffic via Sylvenstein
• Both sides of the St2076 from the Seeglas roundabout to Hausham town entrance west from approx. 9:00 a.m. to approx. 11:30 a.m. → diversion via Gmund/Miesbach/Agathared/Hausham
• Both sides of the Kaltenbrunner Straße from Tegernseer Hof to the junction of the B318 Gut Kaltenbrunn from approx. 10:30 a.m. to approx. 1:30 p.m. → diversion via Gmund

Siebenhütten
The Siebenhütten is starting the season with a small sale. Coffee, cake and bottled drinks are currently being sold when the weather is nice. The construction work is not quite finished yet.

Forest festival on Sunday canceled
The forest festival of the Tegernsee mountain rifle company has been canceled for Sunday, June 23rd, 2024. It will be postponed to July 14th, 2024.

FC Bayern training camp
The friendly match between FC Bayern and FC Rottach-Egern will take place on Wednesday, July 24th, 2024 at the Birkenmoos sports field. Tickets are only available on Sunday, July 21st, 2024 from 5:00 p.m. at the Birkenmoos sports field.

Borussia Mönchengladbach training camp
Borussia Mönchengladbach will be coming to the training camp in Rottach-Egern from July 27th to August 2nd, 2024. The friendly match between Borussia Mönchengladbach and FC Rottach-Egern will take place on Wednesday, July 29th, 2024 at the Birkenmoos sports field. Tickets will then be available via MünchenTicket.

BRB special trains for the European Championship
The BRB is offering a special train at 1:10 a.m. from Munich Central Station on three match days (Friday, June 14th, Tuesday, June 25th, and Tuesday, July 9th, 2024). This ensures that all visitors to the European Championship games, which start at 9 p.m., have enough time to get from the football stadium to the main station after the game ends. However, the trains at 0:10 a.m. only run as far as Holzkirchen.
