Wings for Life World Run 2026
The Wings for Life World Run will take place in Rottach-Egern on Sunday, May 10, 2026. As part of this event, Seestraße will be completely closed from 12:00 PM to 3:30 PM, as will all access points to Seestraße. All other streets, such as Fürstenstraße, Aribostraße, Überfahrtstraße, etc., will have restricted access. Road closures »

Grand Opening of the Climbing Forest

Roadworks on Schwarzentennalmstraße
Both Schwarzenbachstraße and Schwarzentennstraße will be undergoing repairs by the Schliersee Forestry Office of the Bavarian State Forests from March 16, 2026, until approximately May 22, 2026, and will be closed to vehicles and pedestrians during this period. The Buchstein Hut, Schwarzentennalm, and Tegernsee Hut remain fully accessible on foot from the Klamm parking area via the marked hiking trail. Cyclists can reach these huts via the alternative route through the Söllbach Valley from Bad Wiessee.
