Montgolfiade starts at the weekend
Next weekend, the Montgolfiade starts for the 24th time in the Tegernsee Valley. The supporting program for visitors can be found here: https://www.tegernsee.com/rahmenprogramm

The balloon glow will take place on Friday, January 31st from 4:00 p.m. at Sonnenbichl. Please note that access is closed all day. Guests can park at the Söllbach parking lot or at the designated parking spaces in Bad Wiessee.

The balloon launches are planned from January 26th to February 2nd, 2025 daily from around 10:00 a.m. from various launch sites (changes possible due to weather conditions), hot air balloons will then be visible in the sky for visitors almost everywhere in the Tegernsee Valley (depending on the weather). Information about the balloon launches is updated daily during the week at http://www.tegernsee.com/montgolfiade.

Spitzingsee – Tegernsee ski area
The Spitzingsee – Tegernsee ski area opens tomorrow, December 13th, 2024 with the first facilities. The Suttenbahn will only run as a feeder to Spitzingsee on the weekend of December 14th/15th, 2024. Depending on the snow conditions, further departures will be added in the next few days.

Lake promenade in Bad Wiessee closed
Due to construction work at the “Seegut am Tegernsee” hotel, the lake promenade in Bad Wiessee in the area of ​​the construction site is completely closed to pedestrian traffic from January 20th to February 11th, 2025.
