High-quality beef directly from the Gutfelder Hof in Rottach-Egern on the Tegernsee
As a small farm, we are very close to nutrition and nature. Many food scandals, but above all the opacity of food production with many additives, have sparked our desire to defy industrial production and to produce transparent, honest and traditional foods – from our lucky steers.
We have recently been increasingly contacted by friends, relatives, work colleagues, etc., if we can buy meat directly from the farm.
Therefore, the idea arose to make accessible to all conscious and interested consumers, this meat left to its origin, without opaque additives, genetic engineering etc.

The herd consists of a total of 15 alpine oxen, which are made up of the breeds Miesbacher Fleckvieh, Pinzgauer and Murnau-Werdenfelsern.
We get the calves with about 6 weeks and keep them for at least 3 years. From spring to autumn, our animals are always outside – either on the farm’s own pastures or on the Bernau-Alm at about 1400m, south of the Risserkogls.
In the winter mainly hay is used as feed, and exclusively pasture and alp grass in summer. This type of rearing ensures an undisturbed and natural development of the calves. Due to the many movements in the pasture and the pasture, the calves grow slower and the meat gains quality.
